Cassidy was hungry and exhausted from today-Even if she spend most of her day at the museum with Dylan.

All she wanted to do is to just go home and lay down in here nice comfortable silk bed.

Not Oak Dale beds.

Unfortunately, Dr.  Baker said she should stay in town at least for another night before leaving, she agreed.

She didn't feel like questioning him even though she wonders why would certified doctor would live in Oak Dale and he suggested for her to eat dinner with Dylan and him.

She got a little excited at that offer.

She would have the chance to get to know his family better-his dad, maybe his mom, Sky...  Well, maybe they could meet another time or something.

The house looked fairly newer than most houses in Oak Dale and it looked better too.

Light yellow roses were planted leading to the doorway.
They were beautiful the way the setting suns light faded onto them.

The house was a brick house which was also a little different.  Oak Dale is pretty old so they have wooden homes but this was a newer brick version.

Two windows hung up top of the door, one leads into Dylan's room and the other leads to Sky's, she guessed.

Dylan scoops down and picks up a rose.

"For you milady." She giggles as she accepts it.

Sure, that was a cheesy line but she really liked the flower so why wouldn't she take it?

His dad tries to pretend he didn't see anything behind the two of them, which he probably did.

They walk into the house and Dylan takes her black blazer and hangs it up in the closet.

Cassidy looks to her left and sees herself into the mirror-she looks hideous.

She didn't have a hair brush so she had to dig through her shoulder bag to find a elastic band and use it as a ponytail but the ponytail wasn't tight enough and had fallen off.

Had she really just been on a date?

Wow, Dylan must be really nice not to mention anything about her hair.

She couldn't help but to let
loose her smile.

To the left of her there was a kitchen, to the right was the living room with the small tv that she could barely see, and forward of her was a staircase leading upstairs to the bedrooms and the washroom.

In the kitchen, the smell of home cooked potatoes, chicken, broccoli, and gravy.

She tried bad to drool but she couldn't remember the last time she had a home cooked meal.

I mean, she had nanny's that made the meals but they never sat down and ate it with her.

This would be like that-even if it wasn't her family.

"Um...is it okay if I kind of fix my hair in the washroom?" She asked Dylan and he tried not to offend her by just nodding.

Now, she really did have to go and fix her hair but she also was going to take a little, just a little peek into Dylan's room.

She walked up the stairs and quickly fixed her hair.

Her long blond blonde hip length hair wasn't actually that hard to take care of even though it was long.

It wasn't thick like most people's hair.
She brushes her hair through her fingers even though there's a perfect brush in front of her, but it's Sky's brush and well, Cassidy didn't exactly feel comfortable using it.

Tiptoeing into his room, she feels the faint smell of his cologne.

So familiar her body tells her, but her mind is saying why the heck are you in his room?  Do you want him to think you're a messed up pervert?

But whatever, she was being stubborn right now and would face whatever happens later.

The room is filled with nothing, almost like a hotel room almost.

Usually teenage boy's rooms would be filled with posters of rap singer, hockey players, or the occasional porn.
But Dylan's had nothing really.

A bed with a plaid black and white blanket on it, a window hung up ahead of it with a bright red curtains, a hardwood bedside table and common lamp lived on it, a hardwood dresser on the other side of the wall.

She didn't really expect this-Oh well, as she turns around and goes towards the stairs she catches Sky's room in the corner of her eye.

Cassidy follows her instinct to see it; an uncontrollable chime goes off in her head.

It's soft and quiet yet she hates it.
No matter how nice it sounds; it's unfamiliar and different- a bad different.

Her room is painted light pink, her bed cover is hot pink with a picture of hello kitty, dressers, curtains, lamps, and bed table are all painted different shades of pink.

Ballerina posters and awards are on top of the pink dresser.
Was she going to be a ballerina?  She gulped.

"Peek-a-boo!" Dylan goes up from behind her and touches her shoulder.

She jumps frighted for a moment.

I guess being caught in Sky's room is better than being caught in his.

"Hey." She said.

"So you wanted to see her room?" He asked tilting his head slightly.
"A little bit." She smiled.

Cassidy was going to ask him why his room was so empty and Sky's was so full of life but then she shook the thought out of her head.

It would be easier to lie about the dream when they weren't talking about her.

"My rooms in the basement...if you were wondering..." He tries to hide his grinning face.

She didn't get what was so humorous though, and again it was like he was reading her mind.
Impossible.
He's probably one of those guys that just can easily read people.

"Oh...then what about the room over there?" She pointed into the empty room.

"You thought that was my room and looked in there?" He smirked cooly and she blushes in response.

"That's my cousin's, Alexa.  She hardly comes home though.  Her parents, my aunt and uncle died in a freaky house fire she was the one that made it out."

Her eyes felt teary.  House fire...She gulped nervously.

"I'm so sorry...again...." She replied looking straight into his eyes.

"Nah, don't be.  I never knew any of them until last month when she moved in. Alexa hasn't even finished unpacking her stuff," He shrugged.
