"Need it for something?" He offers.

"Yeah. My car broke down and I'm kind of...stuck here..." She shrugs.

"Sorry to hear it.  Nobody really wants to be stuck in a town like Oak Dale."

"You're telling me. This town is..." She bites her tongue to stop herself from insulting Oak Dale.

"Awesome." She says sarcastically as she finishes her sentence.

"I'll make you a deal-let me take you around Oak Dale and try to show you it's actually way more interesting than it seems and after I'll take you back to Los Angeles."

Her eyes narrow suspiciously at him.

"I didn't mention I lived in Los Angeles to either of you..."

"Uh," Dylan stutters for words.

"Whatever, are you going to accept it or not?"

She felt forced to answer partly and he's changing the subject for a reason she has no idea why but obviously the answer is definitely a yes.

"Just one question-Is this a date?"

"Absolutely." He says smirking.

Okay, Cassidy total takes back the whole mailman not sexy.
There is a first time for everything right?

She smiles back and after she finishes her bacon and gathers up her stuff in her shoulder bag and together we walk out the door.

This is also actually a good chance to get Aaron to stop haunting my mind.  Kurt doesn't seem to have mind her leaving with Dylan he gives her a quick wave goodbye before they part.

"Where to first?" Cassidy asks half expecting an at home movie or a hike since the warm weather this time of year is perfect for it.

"A Museum." He says flat out.

She hates Museums, actually She's never been to one.  She prefers not to waste her time in school related places unless she has to be.

Cassidy found that Dylan taking her to a Museum was just strange.  She was always pretty popular with guys and she had been on quite a few dates.  And there had been the couple of guys who didn't take her to places she really wanted to go but never had a guy taken her on a date to a Museum.

Dylan took notice of her hesitation over the Museum, and he grinned.

"I guess you're one of those dumb city girls then?" Dylan commented.

Her jaw dropped.  She could not believe this...first they're so called date was going to a Museum and second he had just insulted her.  She brushed it off but had to think for a moment before replying.

"No...I just don't like Museums...history is boring..."

"Maybe yours." Just the way he said that sounded weird to Cassidy.

"What do you mean by that?"

He just started grinning again.

Dylan...She hardly knows him yet she can tell he's always like this.  He's strange in his own way that probably no one knows how to possibly relate to it but he's so lively and bright that he can fill up a whole room with smiles.

Cassidy already respects him so much-she even wishes she could be more like him.

Cassidy was always hesitative about everything which always exhausted her because being the most popular girl at school and cheerleading caption she had a lot of different questionable suggestions.  But she was confident about who she was and who she wanted to become-she was hesitant but headstrong.

Few minutes of silence pass and after walking a little bit they reached the Museum.
At the entrance of it laid a wax witch with a pretty basic and classic image anyone would think of a witch as.

Pale olive like skin-a black long sleeve dress about knee length-long gray almost silver hair-black high heels and, of course the point black hat on the top of her head and the broom in the middle of her hands.

From distance the witch didn't seem that bad but up close the witch was hideous and creepy-it sent certain chills down Cassidy's very bones.

"You okay?" He touches her should and it feels like electricity ran through her and somehow she knew he felt it too.

She blinked confused and Dylan removed his hand from her shoulder and scratched the back of his neck.

What was that?  Surely, it couldn't be the whole true love touch...it just couldn't...as much as Cassidy hated who to admit she still wasn't over Aaron.

He was her boyfriend for two years and he was the one who really truly understand her.  She missed him so much yet she was never going to forgive him.

She walks over to the first display case-all info on witches and magic of all kinds.  Her eyes narrow as she looks over to the next display case.
A surprising flow of interest enters her.

"Wait-this whole Museum is information on witches?" Cassidy asks Dylan.

"Yep.  The history of this place I think it's wonderful." He answered and just the way he said wonderful created the smallest, tiniest little butterflies in her stomach.

"So are you like a total fantasy geek or something?" She does a brief giggle at him.

"You say it like it's a bad thing." He stared at her and Cassidy felt exposed and her brain told her to wrap her arms around herself to cover up.
Before he notices she shakes the feeling off.

"Well...I'll admit I'm total sucker for Twilight..." She bit her lip trying to hide her smile.

Dylan felt so right to be around and even she couldn't explain it-she could only flow with it.

She looked at the display in the table in front of her but it was all too specific too understand.

Dylan was reading over her shoulder and decided to help her and so he it to her but in simpler terms.

"Back in the olden days Oak Dale was where witches used to live.  There were two different sides of witches, the good and the bad.  They were always in constant war over...well, so many things that none of them could count as the official reason of the war.  But humans also lived in Oak Dale with the witches and one day they got tired of being involved with the war so they started teaching their children to kil witches...when the witches heard of this they tried to run away but they couldn't they were trapped." He exhaled from the large explanation.

"Why?  How come they couldn't escape?" Cassidy asks completely utterly obsessed with this story-it seemed so much like a work of fiction that people had made up but no, it was real.  This actually is part of the history here.

"A witch hunter who is still anonymous captured a witch and forced them to reveal all there spells and this particular spell made it so when a witch enters this town they cannot leave and eventually
they would be hunted down."

"Oh," She looked up at him and stared into his light baby blue eyes.  They were sucking her in and she resisted the urge to melt-even if a part of her wanted to.

Cassidy bets this is where he takes all the girls on their first dates...as much as she hates it Dylan probably is a player just like Aaron.
Get the city girl to hook up with you and then she'll leave and be out of your life forever.

"That must have been terrifying to be trapped like that and then hunted down like animals."

She realizes that her heart is beating like crazy, is it really because she likes Dylan?  But...so soon...shouldn't be still be depressed over her ex-boyfriend?  They just had broken up yesterday
after all. "I can tell you find it as interesting as I do."

She nodded but her rosy lips felt too heavy to smile at the moment.

"Are you hungry?" he asks.

If he's going to take her out to eat she would rather not.  It would be better to just skip it and then she could just leave the Museum quicker and go back home and pretend that nothing of the sort had happened.

Cassidy even wanted to do the pile of homework she had for school on Monday. Odd, of course...she hoped the fumes of Oak Dale weren't making her a retard or even worse, sick.

To her being sick is the absolute worst thing in the world-she's forced on bed rest by her parents
all day at home when there's no one around for her to even moan to in her pain.

Sometimes Aaron would skip afternoon classes and give her some McDonalds-not the best choice of lunch for a sick person but it really made her feel so loved, which is the feeling Cassidy had to receive from Aaron, all the time.  She demanded it.  Since her parents didn't give it to her, he needed to.  Aaron was fine with that.  No questions asked.  But maybe after two years he finally realized that maybe they're relationship to him was...too demanding.

What was she doing anyways?  Typical Cassidy.  Getting lost in her thoughts so much she forgets what's right in front of her.

She mentally slaps herself not taking her sweet time waking back up to reality.
