"See you later." He smiled.

She liked seeing him so cheerful in the morning.

Walking out of the house and scrambling across town trying to remember where the hell the restaurant Kurt worked in-that she couldn't even remember the name of-was.

She bumped into some girl of the sideway where pretty baby Oak Trees were starting to grow.

She was wearing an white tank with I ♥ NYC written in black and the heart in red, gray skinny jeans, red converse shoes, and striped black and white fingerless gloves.

Her hair, a light auburn color that ended at her chest and she had side bangs.

Her eyes were wearing what looked to be the same mascara as Cassidy; she looked to be the same age as her too.

The books in her hands fell to the ground

"Sorry…I didn't see you…" Cassidy said as she bent over to pick up the girls books.

"Clearly." Her voice was stunning.

It was like the whole world shook.  Then Cassidy looked down at the books.

They were titles like, How to find a record label, How to play the guitar for morons, and a clothing magazine.

This girl wanted to be a famous, Cassidy had never heard her sing but by the way her voice sounds she could already tell she was amazing.

"Hello?  Are you handing me my books or what?"  Well, she was talented but has some major attitude problems.

Cassidy handed her the books regretting ever bumping into this person.

"Lol, just kidding," She burst out laughing.

Cassidy became confused.

"Pardon?" Cassidy asked.

She waved her hands in the air trying to tell her she was kidding.

"I was just trying out my acting because some idiot in my History class said that I probably will never be an star and that I should care about failing my test so…ever since then I trying going all mean girl on people but everyone knows me so they know I'm faking and you never saw me before and,"  She exhaled.

"I'm blabbing on again aren't I?" She smiled.

Cassidy chuckled.

"Back to I haven't seen you before…why haven't I seen you before?"

"I'm only a short visitor."

"Oh really?  Too bad.  But I'm Riley Goodman, I'm telling you this because when I become famous you can say you knew me before."

She sure was confidence, but was that a good thing or a bad?

Before Cassidy had time to say her name back Riley had already gone.

She arrived at Kurt's restaurant and memorized the name, "THE WITCHES CABIN" and then opened the door to hear the chime of the door go off.

Kurt's trying to walk a straight line yet somehow failing miserably.

He's holding a beer bottle in his hands and as he tries to walk it spills all over the place.

She's not sure what she should be more worried about, the fact this place hasn't been shut down by a health inspector yet or the fact that Kurt is drunk at 8 am?

"Hey…Kurt."

He flips around fast notices someone was behind him, then holds the beer bottle with both hands and points it at her as if it was a gun-which causes some more of it to spill out.

"Ya, stupid turtles."  He mumbles and Cassidy can barely hear.

She had no idea what to say to him while he was like this.

"Hey, Cass…"

"Don't call me that."

Kurt glared at her for a moment as she stared back at him.

But then the atmosphere got calmer when Kurt broke his glare and took a chug of his drink, then burped to him self.

"Listen, Kurt," Half of her knew that he wasn't going to be much help to her but she thought why not?

"Sweetie, I'm sick.  I had some Nestle Turtles and I couldn't find anything to drink so I…"

He held his beer in the air.

"Yeah!" He yelled then passed out on the floor.

Oh, my, god, this guy just had beer and chocolate at 8 am in the morning?

I've never met anyone so stupid before.

She gently slapped Kurt's cheek but when that didn't work she gave him a harder slap that left where she hit him red.

She tried not to grin but to her slapping him brought her honest pleasure.

He woke up coughing.

"Oh, man.  I got a headache."

"Serves you right.  But I need your help with something and Dylan told me that you were a wiz at the supernatural."

He eyed her.

"I know some things…"

Just the way he said some sent chills down her back.

"Ok…here's the deal…I've, lately been having dreams about the girl named Sky that's missing and the weird thing is…the first dream I had with her I never even saw her face before…I can't really describe it well…" She shrugged.

Kurt stopped looking drunk and started looking like an adult.

He got off the floor, put his beer on one of the empty tables and sat down at the nearest table to Cassidy.

He patted the chair next to him telling her to sit, she did just that.

"A dream about Sky?  Well, eventually we all have dreams about her.  She had that...impression on people.  But you've never met her so I get what your trying to say by that's weird." He nodded.

He grunted as his head hit the table.

"I have a book upstairs, you read it.  I gotta a nap."

That wasn't exactly what Cassidy wanted to hear; she just plainly wanted him to tell her flat out what was with the dreams.

Except, he was so drunk he could barely stay awake and so now, she had to look through a book to figure it out.  Reading on a Sunday, she signed depressed.

Cassidy helped Kurt walk up the stairs and into his bedroom.

His room was painted with fairly new light brown with the old rotten wood floor, a single bed was in the room and a dresser in the corner, no windows were there.

Under his bed was a huge dusty handwritten book, guessing that was the book she was suppose to read she grabbed in with two hands because it was so giant and carried it downstairs.
She flipped to the last page to see how many pages in total there were.
Page 3000.
She rolled her eyes and looked at the table of contents.  Wow.  There sure were a lot of supernatural things and creatures.  One title caught her eye and that was...            Glimpses into the future.
